Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the CashWise application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Use of the app

You agree to use CashWise solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account comprehensively.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You agree not to use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• You must not attempt to compromise the app's security or disrupt its services.
• We reserve the right to modify or terminate the service temporarily or permanently at any time without prior notice.

CashWise Premium subscriptions

CashWise is free to use. Some features are part of CashWise Premium, an optional auto-renewing subscription.

• Plans and price. Premium is offered as a monthly or annual subscription, and may be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase. The exact price is shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may vary by country.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. We never receive or store your payment card details.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, it is stated on the purchase screen. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the trial converts into a paid subscription at the price shown.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, and refunds are governed by their policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the app stores directly, but contact us and we will help where we can.
• If your subscription ends. Your data is never deleted because a subscription lapsed. You keep every transaction, account and budget you created; the free-tier limits simply apply again.
• Changes to Premium. We may change what is included in Premium or its price. Price changes affecting an existing subscription take effect only after notice and, where required, your consent, in line with the app stores' rules.

AI features

CashWise includes features that use artificial intelligence to describe your spending, answer questions about it, and interpret voice entries. These outputs are generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and are provided for information only. They are not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Always check anything important against your own records before acting on it. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is processed by these features.

Limitations of liability

In no event shall CashWise or its developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the app. The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind.

We do not guarantee the structural accuracy of financial calculations or assume responsibility for any financial decisions, losses, or legal complications made based on the app's reporting or functionality.

Changes to terms

We reserve the right to substantively modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after any changes indicates your full acceptance of the newly modified Terms.
